Welcome to EcoSafe Materials. This site is brand new—and this is just the beginning.
Dave is building a transparency tool to help chemists, manufacturers and consumers understand materials and explore safer, more sustainable choices. Here is what you can use today, where we are heading, and how you can help shape it.
Catalog size is different from complete documentation. SDS/TDS coverage, origin research and assessments are still being developed.
AVAILABLE TODAY
Search by name or CAS, browse industries and categories, and open individual material profiles. Supplier grades and generic substance identities are kept distinct.
Explore →Keep your selections visible while browsing. Compare available technical properties with their sources, units and test conditions; missing values remain visible.
Explore →Consumer articles, formulation guides and supplier profiles connect readers with source information. The Document Library brings archived references and supplier access links together.
Explore →WHERE WE ARE GOING
Add current supplier SDS and TDS files, document revisions and source-backed manufacturing origin. More catalog entries do not automatically mean more fully documented records.
Research more exact-grade values, including polymer properties, viscosity and reactive chemistry. Keep measurements comparable by showing methods and conditions.
Populate the existing map and tracker with reviewed sources, starting with major commodities and priority countries. Develop the Mexico manufacturing section.
Build mass-percent and rubber phr calculators, a way to request alternatives, and simple tools to save or export material shortlists.
Define the criteria, review process and evidence needed before publishing any score or label. No materials have an EcoSafe score or certification today.
Explain confusing labels, ingredient concerns and formulation alternatives in accessible language. Add the materials and topics visitors ask about.
OUR TARGETS
December 31, 2026
Material records with supplier SDS/TDS links and sourced origin information. The current catalog count does not mean this goal is complete.
March 31, 2027
Extend the same documentation standard, prioritizing plastics, rubber polymers, coatings and their ingredients.
December 31, 2026
A growth target measured as a seven-day average. Our focus is making the site useful enough for people to return and share it.
These are targets, not completed milestones or guaranteed delivery dates. Priorities will evolve with research and your feedback.
HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT
Request a material, suggest a feature, tell us what is confusing, or report something that is not working. Your input helps Dave decide what to build and research next.
Feedback is sent privately, not posted publicly. We use your contact details to respond and review your suggestion. Please leave out confidential formulas, passwords and payment details.
